From April 3, 2026 – History of Postal Services
The extensive History of Postal Services exhibition captures the development and transformation of postal services.
Six thematically and chronologically arranged sections are dedicated to the beginnings of Austrian postal services in the 16th–18th centuries, the turbulent development of postal services during the Industrial Revolution, the emergence of telecommunications services in the same period, interwar Czechoslovak postal services, and not least, the era of Czechoslovak postal services after World War II. The history of postal transport is brought to life through a unique collection of carriages, wagons, and sleighs.
