From April 3, 2026 – Around the World with Teeth and Without

The selection of displayed stamps “pinned” to the pages of the atlas is complemented by a popular stamp motif: animals, both with teeth and without.

Just like animals don't always have typical little teeth, neither do postage stamps. On display are miniature images from over a hundred countries – typical and unconventional shapes, wooden and shiny, even plastic ones. The stamps are part of the extensive collection of foreign postage stamps from the Postal Museum.

Children can test their knowledge of natural history and geography not only in a quiz; the exhibition features travel suitcases filled with books and animals for little and big explorers or researchers.

Young and old alike can exercise logical thinking with animal mail, travel the world using various modes of transport, and send messages in different ways. They can try telephoning, or simply relax, draw, and read. Competitive young visitors can test their skills in a special postal decathlon.
